Freelance Web Development and Design
2009 – present
I implement the full website development process from initial design, proposal, development, to launch. In most cases, I use Wordpress to drive the site content for ease of maintenance, and to give clients the option to maintain the content themselves. I use SEO best practices — not fads — and track changes to search engine algorithms so that websites I design don’t use out-of-date methods. I use best practices to keep websites secure from hackers, and help advise my clients to keep them that way.
Freelance Professional Photography
2005 – present
I photograph portraits, events and products for businesses using professional camera gear, lighting, and techniques. I use the best methods to use my photographs on clients’ websites for high-quality and sharpness, yet take a minimum of time to load.

Every website should appear as a snowflake — like none anyone has ever seen before.
I design websites to make the Web a better place to experience — clear to navigate; clean of clutter. They must make the Web a more beautiful place to get stuff done quickly.
Have me design a website for you and you get a complete package, from the original design proposals to launch. I can create professional photographs and place them with perfect sharpness — no squished, fuzzy photos from me. I handle the graphics, video, and audio using the latest technologies and techniques — studying the latest in Web design comprises a lot of my recreation. Having aced recent English composition classes, I can also help with copy editing. Proper and efficient use of the English language has the same importance as a beautiful photograph.
I come from a technical background, achieving a degree in computer science and spending 12 years both developing software and helping other software engineers develop software. Technology and art have through history moved hand-in-hand, and modern digital photography and Web design bring art and technology together. My appreciation of art and love of technology drives me to Web design and digital photography — the junction of technology and art.
I serve the San Francisco bay area, specializing in the East Bay cities of Pleasanton, Fremont, Dublin, San Ramon, Livermore, Tracy, and Danville. Being a technology enthusiast, I enjoy creating art in the Silicon Valley as well. I hope to serve your needs too.
